The guest bathroom had a complete makeover. Not only did we replace all of the fixtures, we reconfigured them so that the tub could be positioned to the back of the room and the toilet next to the vanity. This allowed us to give a little over a foot of space to the master bath, located next door. For the design, we went modern with a floating walnut vanity, concrete effect porcelain tiles on the floor, and double hex tiles for the shower surround. We went with chrome fixtures so that they matched the vintage Air King ceiling fan. We softened up the space with a Tommy Bahama palm print shower curtain. We didn’t have room for actual plants in the bathroom, but it was important to incorporate them into the design of this room as well.
