Welcome!

We are Danielle and Cole. In the spring of 2014, we fell in love with mid-century design when we moved into a Cliff May home in Harvey Park, Denver. That story is here. 

Our journey together began in Aspen, among the majestic Rocky Mountains. A job opportunity pulled us to Denver, where our lives were forever changed by the purchase of our first home. Weekends on the slopes transitioned to Home Depot supply runs (more than we can count) and thrifting vintage goods. Restoring our home was a long, but incredibly rewarding process that was only completed through the help of our friends and family. 

A little over two years later we began the journey again with another mid-century home in Northglenn, Colorado. Visit Our Home to learn more. 

Why Post and Beam Living?

Post and Beam Living was created as a way for us to share our passion with others. It began on Instagram in the summer of 2016 as a collection of images and stories about our Cliff May home. Through that platform we connected with hundreds of mid-century Instafriends who continue to inspire us daily. It was their enthusiasm for our work that gave us the courage to pursue a website dedicated to our journey.
