Of all the rooms, the upstairs bedroom needed the least work. The original hardwoods were in rough shape so we installed new red oak hardwoods and took the opportunity to switch the direction of the planks so that they ran the same direction as the rest of the main floor. We also removed the drywall from the beam and gave the room a fresh coat of paint. For the design, I found inspiration in my Glacier National Park Pendleton blanket and went with a vintage cabin theme.
